Chosen Solution I bought a used 2015 iMac with a cracked screen, I installed a 6700k CPU, a blade SSD and SATA HDD with the OWC in-line temp sensor. I de-lidded the CPU and used thermal pads for the GPU, and upon reassembling, it didn’t boot, with no chime and only LED 1&2 lit up. I tried disconnecting both storage drives, put in the original CPU back in, changed RAM and even a different power supply....

Chosen Solution Hello, yesterday i broke my iPhone screen and after replacement the screen is working fine until 30-40seconds and its “crashes”. The screen er turning either red or blue and then turns off. Sometimes its showing blurry colours also. What could be the problem? Have tried multiple LCD’s but still having same problem. Sounds to me like long screw damage if this is after an LCD replacement. Do you think it’s possible you mixed up some of the screws while re-assembling the phone?...

Chosen Solution Can an an Android LCD be degaussed to correct the magnetized condition, as I just replaced it? If you have a public library near you, the library does have a degausser. They run the books and media tags through this. I’ve asked to run hard drives through it before to wipe the data. You may try asking your local librarian to run your phone through one.
Chosen Solution read something flashing the gpu? not sure what it said but is it safe and worth it? There is no such thing as flashing the GPU here. I suspect you read something about the GPU problems this series had. As Apple and a few other companies were supplied a bad run of chips. People tried reflowing the chip to solve the problem but its only a temporary fix. As for Yosemite running on this series....

Chosen Solution I have a ‘98 Chevy Silverado K1500 that’s having rear light issues. The brake lights, turn signals, and back up lights stopped working. It doesn’t matter if the lights are on or off. However, when I turn the lights on, my tail lights come on and stay on until I turn them off. My third brake light is also working regardless of the lights being on our off. I have checked the fuses under the dash and the few under the hood as well as replaced all the rear bulbs with no improvement....

Chosen Solution Replaced my home button and after putting everything back together the screen doesn’t light up , I get a hard drive vibration if I try to restart and I also get a audible signal if it’s plugged in.. so it appears it’s alive but just not displaying anything. Chosen Solution I’m changing out the housing color from black to blue. Is the the fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone synced to the motherboard? It would be nice to switch it to blue without any issues. For as far as I know, Samsung does not sync the fingerprint scanner to the motherboard, which means it can safely be swapped without losing functionality. Good luck with the replacement!...

Chosen Solution OK, much better! So the fan ramping up and the kernal_task running hard is all do to the lack of sensors feeding SMC with data. SMC goes into CPU Safe Mode ramping the fan up and lowering the CPU’s clocking to a crawl to prevent it from overheating. Once you get the sensors working and reconnected properly your system will be much better! Chosen Solution After replacing the LCD and digitizer screen, the iPad didn’t seem to power on. However, it hasn’t been used or charged in over a year or more. So I plugged it in and immediately saw an apple logo shown, clearly on screen. To reach the top two bolts on clutch housing use a three foot (one meter) extension with a wobbly socket....
